As you may be aware, Venture 1 has been working closely with a local charity, Community Tech Aid, to help give access to technology to those who need it most. This includes; children and young people, the elderly, disabled and vulnerable adults. Community Tech Aid works with over 200 organisations in Lambeth and Southwark ranging from schools, refugee groups and food banks to mental health support services and young carers.
Over last few months we have been working with the tenants in our own office, China Works, and Workspace to run technology donation drives. Since our last drive back in July of this year, we are pleased to say that seven more people in the local Lambeth community have received a refurbished device from the drive. The community and organisations we have been able to support so far include:
· Mental Health Support
· Education and Training
· Domestic Abuse Support
· Social Relief and Care
· Support for the Homeless
· Prison Leavers Support

The impact our technology drive has had on the local south London community continues to highlight the ever growing need to be online and connected. We would like to thank everyone within the Workspace community who has donated technology over the last few months, and we look forward to updating you again with more exciting progress in the coming months.
